no one has yet convincingly explained how a president would flee the country. he has an entire train of people who follow him around. his schedule is known months in advance. if he loses the election, nobody is going to just let him hop on a plane to Russia. He doesn’t own Air Force One, and the secret service takes an oath to protect him, but also to prevent him from transparently attempting to engage in what would be treason in most other countries with less generous feelings about what treason entails.

I kind of doubt that if Trump decides to make a state visit to Moscow in December or January, that the Secret Service has the authority to forbid it. His flights on AF1 to battleground states weren’t planned months in advance; his campaign just decides where to send him a few days ahead of time and he goes.
