They’re demanding that the USSC void the vote totals in the four states and turn the selection of electors to the state legislatures (i.e. Repubs in those legislatures), which is actually a total contradiction of the supposed reason why they need such relief as doing so would be in contradiction to the laws of those states regarding the selection of electors.

but would the Court do that without a period of arguments as happens in most cases? Or are they just more likely today or whenever to simply say whether they agree or not to hear the case?
