Nah, most mp3 sources allow you to redownload whatever you’ve bought, and if you’ve ripped them from cds yourself you should know enough to back your stuff up.

Many MP3 players have software that you can buy that allows you to transfer them to a new computer. I have my iPod music on three devices: my iPod obviously, my laptop, and my big computer.
