I think this was a very important strike. It means that the Israeli military is giving less and less credence to claims of religious “sanctuary” when “religious” structures are used as military storehouses. They are looking at targets solely from a military perspective without paying attention to claims that “religious” buildings should be immune from attack. If a religious structure is being used to launch weapons in one direction, it better be ready to receive some express deliveries coming right back in return.

Even more important, the Israelis aren’t afraid to publicize that fact. It’s a standard that our soldiers, and most Western militaries, will be wise to emulate.

will get a bit difficult when Hamas do the next logical thing - which is to store weapons in hospitals. no doubt they are doing that already…
