Whether the banned user’s comment was over the top or not is a judgment call. He honestly thought it was not. So he’s not lying. He’s just got no judgment. Any reasonable reader would deem it over the top.

As to “when” it all “comes down” here, that’s unlikely. It’s even unlikely in Europe, though the odds aren’t as outlandish.

Truth is, it doesn’t suck in the least to be a Muslim (man) in the U.S. It’s a far better life than being a Muslim in France, or Pakistan, or just about anywhere else. For women, gee. It’s less of a hardship in the U.S. than it is in most places. At least if you get beheaded, the State will prosecute the devout(?-from what I understand, Sharia doctrine is that husbands are permitted to mete out corporal punishment, but it must stop short of drawing blood, breaking bones, etc.) ripper who did you in. This has to have some deterrent effect.

Are you kidding? Charles’ rule on violence is “Comments that advocate violence will be cause for immediate banning with no appeal.”
