Thanks for doing my homework for me. I agree the Constitution is only as strong as we the people make it. Americans have a stubborn independent streak and hopefully we won’t give it up any time soon. I fear for my children’s generation however. Their school environment tends to teach indidivual liberty as an abstraction and demonstrate that they really don’t have many basic rights that the Consitution affords them and that the courts have upheld (unreasonable search and seisure, expression…).

Yet kids seem more selfish and self-absorbed than ever.
