Possibly. Palin’s a complete idiot and would most likely end up just derping her way through doing whatever her advisers tell her. Palin and Trump are still in the same league when it comes to bufoonery even though Trump is the smarter individual.
The real dangerous candidates are the true believers like Ron Paul and Michelle Bachmann.

And since you mention Ron Paul, I would like to add that Gary Johnson is every bit as bad as Ron Paul. Possibly more dangerous because he looks more like on of those nice Libertarians.
