Yes we should unite by having them vote for democratic candidates because this is a first past the post system which naturally trends down to two groups, and any splinter faction only ends up strengthening those who most opposes the party from which the splinter occurred, and sorry libertarians but the Democrtatic party was here first.

My guess is that the libertarians who are basically shy Republicans greatly outnumber the libertarians who have pot as their single issue.
