I had a bowl cut in elementary school. I hated it. In middle school, I went with the “parted-down-the-middle” look, which Beavis told Butt-head *in front of the band Anthrax* “You look like a dick!” So I went with a buzz-cut for a couple of years until sometime in high school (when I truly realized I was my own person forever) when I just let the goddamned hair go.

I have friends that call me Hair Farmer. From buzz-cut I can get my hair more than half-way down my back in about four to five years time.

I attribute this to genetics I got from my mom. Despite excellent researching from my dad, there is a small percentage of my mom’s lineage that we simply cannot find any information. My dad is convinced it’s Plains Indians lineage and why my mother and I could grow such long hair. I dunno.
