Really, this speech today does two things. The first is that it gives folks a preview of the months long castration of Donald Trump by Hillary and the DNC. Every stupid utterance that went by without the GOP speaking up is now going to come back to haunt it.

But the second thing was that it slammed the door squarely in Bernie’s face. She could not have signaled in a more graphic way just how little regard she has for the “threat” of Bernie, either in California or at the convention. After today, the only reason the media will continue to entertain the idea that he could still “win” is because they don’t want to let go of the horse race narrative.
