Regardless of how you think of it, I would rather the R’s control the direction than the Dems. That chance was blown.

The Republicans might have done marginally better. They probably would have insisted on better border control, but that’s not the only issue. For example, every year employers demand more and more H1B visas for IT professionals, and every year Republicans support their demands. Every holder of an H1B visa puts an American IT professional out of work. Employers claim they can’t find Americans with the right skills, but the truth is they can’t find an American who will do the work for the pittance a visa holder will accept.

The Democrats, OTOH, seem to prefer to import a peasant class to mow their lawns, clean their houses, and vote Democrat. 30 million new Dems, indoctrinated as members of their very own grievance group, is not what most people want for this country.

Basically, they both suck.
