I see the UN as something that could be a great force for good in the world… not that it necessarily is, but it doubtlessly has the capacity to be one… so I must ask… is this a problem inherent to the current version of the UN and how it is set up, or is it a problem brought about by what nations currently make up the UN?

The difference between could be and is, is the whole freaking point… they are worthless. Defund them & send them home.
