I’ve been thinking about this ‘religious authority’ thing recently. Did you guys see that story about the rabbis in a scam to seel black market kidneys? Never heard of this Alamo guy before this story broke but I think they’re all the same. Sociopaths find a perch of authority where they can never be questioned. Religion is a good one. So is medicine - I’ve seen some doozies in psychiatry.

Hell, in my family we’ve got one. My neice is beautiful, highly intelligent, and a textbook sociopath.
