We can all feel proud of the doctors in Boston. They treat patients to the best of their abilities without the shadows of politics or prejudice hanging over them. Boston has revealed the true American spirit. I honor the citizens, the injured and those that passed away, The brave first responders, law enforcement and doctors.

In the depth of terrorism and the shocking darkness they faced this week..Boston shined brightly for the world to see.

I’m proud of them and the American spirit and strength they had in their darkest hour.

‘We are Boston’ is a perfect description of the unity they possess.

When I read about horrors that happen to innocent people—be they here in America or across the world—I’m humbled by the human spirit and ability to endure, not to mention all the brave, selfless souls who reach out to save lives, comfort the afflicted, and help them recover.

It’s the very best of humanity which, like a wonderful magic mirror, absorbs the darkness hurled at it and reflects back a brilliantly shining light.
