Yeh, well, I know logic is not their forte, but calling a military base a “gun-free zone” is beyond stupid.

Nor does soldiers/sailors being armed give them superhuman abilities, like knowing that the guy coming towards them is a civilian with a felony murder rap on his record who’s looking to wrestle their gun away and shoot other sailors.
