I read the first 3 books, said fuck this, and haven’t looked back.

I didn’t even get through book 1. Or past show #1 — it’s soap opera set in a medieval world. (Like Rome, the series).

On the other hand, I read every Foreigner novel (Cherryh) when it comes out — even though lately each volume seems to cover a week or so.
