Donald Trump repeats wrong claim that prisoners swapped for Bergdahl are ‘back on the battlefield’

Ok, assuming Politifact is correct in this, how can any of Trump’s fellow Republican candidates not call him on such an obvious lie?

So does The Donald really think there’s all that much political mileage in slagging Bowe Bergdahl 24/7 like he does? He seems to make it a staple of his stump speech, but I really wonder how many people “out there” know who Bergdahl even is, or give a rat’s ass even if they do? *

* my guess is “minuscule” …
