To respond to your question, we have raspberry plants. They’ve practically taken over our garden; they grow like gangbusters up here. We did grow some other vegetables in previous years, like tomatoes and peppers and lettuce and pumpkins, but increasingly Mrs. Fish has been content to just let the berry bushes take over everything.

I like fresh raspberries.

There’s something really satisfying about growing your own fruits and veggies, and I wish I had better space to work with. And/or better set aside the time to work on it. At this point, I’d be willing to, but most of that stuff is less portable, so I just stick with my container gardening for now.
