So the company is bleeding money. Their answer? First, lay off the West Coast Regional Sales Director (i.e., my boss) because he’s somehow at fault. Then lay off the sales person focusing on Southern California to put all your eggs in Silicon Valley. Finally, lay off the one sales person in Texas (i.e., me) and close your office here, pushing all that additional territory on the girl who is moving to Chicago this month, expecting her to pick up the slack for the entire Central time zone.

Seems legit.
