This is why I loved Burn Notice so much because they took a vastly more realistic approach to getting info out of a person.

I liked Burn Notice because it normally had actual spy tradecraft as part of the plot. going in guns blazing was depicted as the foolishness it normally is, and instead the show focused on how Michael Weston and his team figured out how to win without a bloodbath.
