Yeah that is most people’s dream too. However, I discovered I was afraid of inside fastballs when I was 10 :). The Gibson-Eck home run though, it’s the stuff of legends. It’s Roy Hobbs but better since it’s real and Vin Scully is doing the play by play on one side and Jack Buck on another. I believe Don Drysdale- former Dodger also called it. Baseball’s beauty is in its calls too. I DON”T BELIEVE WHAT I JUST SAW.

To that last point, I’m reminded of the simple understatement of Kirby Puckett’s home run in 1991 Game 6: “And we’ll see you tomorrow night!”
