Well, by that time they would have gotten English at the court, so the local baron would have used the usual name. OTOH, on his yearly (well, in theory at least) visit, the bishop would likely have used the latin form, I can just imagine that confirmation “Gulielmus?” - nudge in ribs, “that’s you, Bill!”
