I just watched Carter’s “Malaise Speech” in its entirety, and it’s a damn shame what the right has done to that good man. There’s nothing in that speech that was wrong.

Carter was a good man and President, but TBH, Ted Kennedy and the “liberal wing” of the day didn’t help too much. A party split like that never works out. Maybe Reagan would have won anyway, but we will never know.

Thank goodness Bernie is finally going to endorse Hillary. Some damage will be done but I don’t think it will be significant.
