You know what I’ve not heard yet? While Republican governors are sending out orders to lower flags, none of them are commenting on Donny being a massive douchenozzle on this matter. And not a single Republican Senator, past or present, has spoken up to criticize this total lack of respect being shown to their now-deceased colleague or publicly demand the White House issue a formal proclamation. The GOP thinks that total silence beyond praising McCain is all they need to get the public to give them a pass.

And you know what? They’re probably right.
