Ok.. so, I spend my whole short 4 hour shift tonight at the U-scan, which I would like to rename the “U’re Fucked”

I am starting to spot the customers who should stay away from the U-scan all together. Any men in cowboy boots and women in high heels.

There is something ass-backward about the concept of doing a good job at the U-san station. You’re doing a really good job when you are fixing all the problems that the customer is causing.

Really, this happened tonight, a customer was talking back to one of the U-scan stations. It would go “do you have any coupons?” and he answers “no dammit, I just want to pay…” I walked up behind him and suggested… “watch out for station 6, it’s pretty sensitive to criticism… last week someone was arguing with it and suddenly the laser came whipping out from under the glass and… well… haven’t seen that customer since…”
