With regards to gay rights I doubt anything will ever change in Zimbabwe for the next 500 years. I mean, take a look at how rather archaic our Constitutional government treats gays in this country. Plus, there’s not enough oil in Zimbabwe to justify “nation building” or even a fleeting interest. Primarily though race is the biggest factor. If this were taking place in an Anglo-European nation (i.e. white) there would be global outrage from the Western nations.
