You’re not getting it. The violence goes no farther than the assassinations. After that, they think they can use the system to keep their ill gotten gains.

It’s a fact, not speculation, that millions of them are making these preparations. Much of this is aimed at other scenarios, but it’s obvious they do expect a backlash, and this is how they expect to handle it. It is so common an assumption on the right, that they are better prepared to use violence, that it needs no exposition from the coup advocates.
