Have you tried Transderm Scopolamine patches? It worked for my cousin when we were sailing in open ocean.

Yes, they do help, but they have limitations. You need to start hours ahead of time, so they aren’t for the casual 2 hour trip, and they reduce but don’t eliminate the feeling of motion. Also, you need a prescription, so they’re probably great for something like a cruise, but not for ‘everyday’ situations.

Edit: In my case motion results in a feeling of falling and being unable to reduce or change the motion leads to panic attacks, so it is a bit more complex than most people’s motion issues.
