Then you are attempting to do the consistent libertarian approach to society?
Back in college several of my friends were die-hard libertarians and discusses such issues as whether government should be involved in roads, sewers, etc.
I maintain that the reason government (at various levels) are involved in these activities is because life simply works better that way. We (humans) have millennia of human experimentation with governance, and it does seem that the winning design is one in which collective responsibility is exercised along with (not in place of) individual responsibility.
