Although a reasonable case can be made for the anti war movement (just like the Tea Parties) they are/were essentially and anti-American movement. Lauding every casualty in hopes of scoring political points. Every death and suicide bombing from Iraqi “freedom fighters” was pointed to by lefty blogs as a sign that Bush’s war was lost and we must surrender. The Dem Candidates were even forced to campaign on the issue of surrender in Iraq, each candidate trying to retreat faster than the other. The wanted nothing more than defeat in Iraq until Obama too over. Luckily Bush won the the war before Obama took office and the lefties didn’t mind victory so much after the election.
