And they’re real jackasses too. I’ve heard lots of stories about them from Saudis. They’re pretty much universally despised (and feared).

Maureen Dowd (I think) wrote about an encounter with them. They were not happy about her skirt length. She was going to blow them off when she realized that her translator was very, very nervous. I believe they agreed that if she went into a store (they were at a mall) and bought an abaya to wear out, that would be OK.
