I really hate that Muslims did this to Americans, scared & enraged them like that. I hate that they do it to anyone, but I naturally feel stronger when it’s “my people”. It makes me feel furious and ashamed and depressed all at the same time…like I want to rip off their smirking, murdering terrorist heads, then apologize and ask people to please try to understand that it hurts us as much as it hurts them and we’re not all like that…then I usually just feel like crawling off into a corner and crying at the horror and pain and senseless of it all.
