Bishops Investigate Girl Scouts-P. Parenthood Link

U.S. Catholic Bishops is investigating whether the Girl Scouts have connections with the abortion provider Planned Parenthood. They will also look into the Scouts’ “problematic program materials.”

The Girl Scouts have denied any relationship with Planned Parenthood and insist their sole focus is the betterment of young women.

“We do not take positions on some of these issues that we’re being alleged to take positions on,” Anna Maria Chvez, CEO of Girl Scouts of the USA, said at a National Press Club luncheon Wednesday.
