The ESPN commentators suggested that this poor performance by Brazil could end up costing Brazil’s ruling party in next election, especially if Argentina wins. There’s already been a shit ton of anger in Brazil over all the money being spent on the World Cup at the expense of social programs there. Watching Argentina win tomorrow will be match on a powder keg.
