Well, no, you get called a purity pony for railing about the Evil Twitter when you’re one of the most frequent Twitter users on this site. You post tweets constantly. This is not a bad thing — most are informative, many are interesting contributions to the conversations here. But we’re watching you preach against a site/sevice — and likewise the the participants thereof — that you follow avidly, while you hold yourself up as a model of virtue for participating only by proxy.

I do not have a Twitter subscription.

Twitter makes literally $0 from me when I post a photo of a guinea pig or a snarky tweet from Stonekettle.

On the other hand, giving Uber my money (if i did that) is quite literally supporting their business model of gutting the taxi industry and its workers without complying with any of the laws surrounding it, brushing rape under the rug, &c.

So yeah, I guess I’m a purity pony.
