Why sure. We all get to withhold our dollars as we choose. I like it like that. I really like artists that manager to have reasonable opinions, especially those I disagree with. I might learn something. As to the case at hand, well I’m not impressed with ridiculous assertions like that.

True. But I also have a theory that people will have ridiculous assertions even if they don’t tell us. So I see it as most people having a capacity for making ridiculous assertions — why even I will engage in that from time to time. It’s just casual talk anyway since Spike Lee really isn’t a historian so it’s easily ignored.
