In the conservative world being pregnant is all soft focus shots with lots of butterflies flitting around. In real life it can be exhausting, nauseating and makes one as graceful as a beached whale.

Anything with the death rate of pregnancy (even with modern medicine to make it much less appalling) should not be made mandatory by law.
