Right, but I’m talking about what made him popular with the conservative movement to begin with. You almost never see liberals turning underage kids into frontline spokespeople for liberalism. For instance while people did rally around Ahmed Mohammed that was to defend him against racial profiling, not to use him as a salesman for a larger political agenda. That’s because liberals are confident that the demographic trend-line is firmly on our side, so there’s no psychological insecure drive to prove that to ourselves.
