Short answers: No, and no. Ryan is dedicated and he’s not going to just walk away. But neither can he go after Donald Trump, since if Trump ends up winning the general election he’d then work to lever Ryan out for having done. Trump’s a vindictive man and Paul Ryan isn’t going to risk being on his bad side at this point.
