Just talked to my mother to wish her a happy birthday.

She is concerned about flooding on the Fox River - Chicago is about to get another round of thunderstorms with heavy rain, and the Fox in her area is only eighteen inches below flood stage.

A friend is having a time of it. Two of the family homes are FUBAR.
