I remember the big fight about putting music out online. The music companies were NOT going to accommodate online music dispersal. They would find a way to produce disks that could not be downloaded or copied. They tried so hard on that score.

The business plan on that one was clear to anyone with a functioning brain, but it took them a while to realize that technology was against them, and technology wasn’t going to be turning back.
