PUMA’s? Bah… assholes. Screw the PUMAs. I got so pissed, I tried posting on their site and they kept deleting me. I wasn’t even nasty. I was seriously trying to explain to them they had go with the winner. Your guy doesn’t always win. So? Some people were really never taught how to bow out gracefully.

It’s was really hard to separate reality from truth in 2008 and I glossed over a lot of stuff that I couldn’t put together.

I’m not sure how real the PUMA thing ever was. I know a couple of people who were Democrats and committed Hillary people, didn’t care for Obama, and didn’t vote for him, or anyone. Given that all of these people live in California, this was purely an act of personal loyalty with no chance of harming the party.

I recall that in the days coming up to the election on this site, a lot of people were counting on the PUMAs to give McCain the election, which was nonsense. But quite a lot of the old guard here did not seem to get that Obama was going to win. It was pretty clear some time out, but they just couldn’t adapt to the idea.
