I took a kid shooting for his 11th birthday this afternoon. He’s my one martial art’s student lately.

This kids grin as he had all this fun shooting all these guns he’d only seen as toys or read about… Wow. I so remember that feeling myself like when I got to fly a plane or something.

This kid shot .22 through up through light loaded .45 pistols today. He wanted to try them all. Between his Dads collection and my humble array he got to try six different pistols.
That smile will stay with me as long as I live.

I hope you taught him to do EVERYTHING connected with guns “by the book”. “This is no game, if you mess up with guns you die…or someone else dies, which is worse.”

No, this was my GP, whose office is a little over a mile from my place and less than a quarter mile from where my office was until less than three years ago. I do taxes for his parents, his father’s medical corporation, and his two brothers, but not him, and his family has known my boss’ family for over 50 years. I trust him.
