I think, on some level, they didn’t really want to run for president. To run, they have to face the actual public, not the right-wing echo chamber.

They had to run if they want any kind of shot in 2016. The Republican Party all too often goes for whoever is next in line, and you have to actually get in that line at some point. Makes me wonder why Huck sat this one out. The Fox gig can’t be that lucrative being only once a week, can it?
