Mrs. Fish and I snuck a little whiskey into our Coke at Thanksgiving lunch. I don’t know if it’s because my folks are getting more pigheaded as they get older, or if we’re getting less tolerant of their intolerance as we get older.

I think if I had to deal with intolerant people at dinner, I’d have snuck a little coke into my whiskey.
