Heh, too funny. Just yesterday I was reading an article about the springing up of hookah cafes all over the country, especially in college areas. The bowls all filled with flavored tobacco sadly. Makes me wonder if they’re just gearing up…

A few years ago, they suddenly started appearing all over Paris. Just like the Irish Pubs a couple of decades ago. At the time, many of those pubs were funneling money to the IRA. France passed a very inclusive no smoking in public places law a few years ago, and all the hookah joints closed down. I wasn’t unhappy to see them go.
