agreed. i think if it goes to trial, though, sherrod is at substantial risk of losing.

that said, i don’t know all of the black.letter.law on standards for proving “reckless disregard for truth,” so maybe there is some wiggle room there, as breitbart obviously manipulated the footage with little care for “truthful journalism.”

i’ll be rooting for her, whatever path she and her lawyers decide to take.
