I’ve been in the implanted medical devices field for decades and keep waiting till we progress beyond where everything looks like a nail simply because all we have in the toolbox are different varieties of hammers.
Anyway, articles like these just drive home to me how complex the human system really is with all sorts of complex biofeedback mechanisms including the microbiota in our guts.
