One of the drawbacks of dealing with folks over the phone versus in-person is you can’t reach through the phone line and smack them upside the head like you really want to when they’re asking you the same dumb question for the third time in two minutes, i.e. what the “weekly rate” is when I’ve already told them twice that we don’t have a fixed rate but instead a discount that’s applied for stays of seven days or longer. From the sounds of this caller, it’s yet another person with the mindset that “‘extended stay’ = apartment” for the purposes of planning their immediate housing needs.
