The modern computer comes hugely from Turing’s work. My ‘mystical’, and obviously impossible ‘punishment’ is not meant as a ‘threat’— which is an absurdly dramatic interpretation— but as a thought exercise to get people to think about how much homosexuals have contributed to our culture.

Oh, and Liebnitz never wrote out the math for true Turing machines. He had the idea, but he never got there completely. He was awesome, though.

And to correct a fact, you already know that Lawrence Pritchard Waterhouse had more to do with breaking the Enigma code than anyone.
